Beav’s Graphics was formed on a simple concept. Just because you are not a multibillion dollar company with distributors worldwide does not mean you should have to deal with half rate graphics.
Some of my first memories of life are of me with a pencil and a notepad. I was always the kid who drew on every possible surface (napkins at restaurants, envelopes, any handout from school and anything else I could find). However, it was not until I received my first computer and discovered digital art that everything “clicked.”
I began with graphics in 2000. My first experiences with graphic design were on a message forums doing Photoshops of cars and later Photoshop renderings of instruments. There I received coaching from one of the most talented guys I have ever met; Brice Bernard of Soreye. Brice taught me pretty much everything I know about Photoshop.
Around the same time, I started doing web work for my church. There I began to expand my graphics palette by doing logos for youth events and general web work. Over the next couple of years, I began to dabble in more serious web work, never dreaming that it would evolve into a career.
A couple of years later I met another mentor, Brian Barrett. Brian owns and operates The LowEnd Bass Shop, LowEnd Distribution, LowEnd Basses and is a partner in Benavente Guitars. Brian is probably the most driven individual I have ever met. He allowed a wet behind the ears college student to go wild with the graphics of all his ventures (a decision I have no doubts he regretted at the time). My time with Brian taught me how to do major troubleshooting and how the mind of an entrepreneur works.
Soon after deciding to take graphics more serious and forming a company I noticed a trend that bothered me. It seemed that most people associated with smaller businesses were only putting out mediocre products at best. At this point, I knew I could bring something new to the table and I realized what my mission in this venture was.
It amazes me the opportunities I have had in the last few years to work with some amazing and talented people around the world to help them further their craft.
I thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and what I do and I look forward to doing business in the very near future.
