Ok, so you have decided you want to have a web site built. Now what?
First off, I always recommend securing your domain name (beavsgraphics.com, google.com, yourcompany.net, etc.) as soon as possible. There are tons of domain name registering services. I personally use and recommend GoDaddy. It is easiest to think of your domain name as a street sign pointing the web browser to the location of all the files. It is usually best to keep your domain name simple and straightforward so your customers will have no problem locating your site.
Next, once we have completed your site, it will need to be hosted. Hosting is simply putting the files in a place that will send out the files when someone types in your domain name. There are also a large variety of places for hosting. I too offer hosting and web mastering packages for a streamlined, worry free process.
